In case the web crew didn't know, you have done a great job providing information to those of us who are not there. We really have a store? I hope you are not counting on me to box and mail anything, that is a little beyond my interest in leadership. My flight pulls into AUSTIN, TX (AUS), United airlines, at 11:02 am. I could use a ride after that so I will call you guys when I get there. looking forward to seeing all of your sunburned faced in a day or so.

That Illinois State car appears to be very well designed.

There's something very familliar about that car....

Team,

I recieved the following comments from Dan a alumni of the project from way back in the tunnel car days. Everybody is coming out of the woodwork for us this year.

Thursday 07-14-05.

Hi, 2005 U of MN Solar Car Team.

I just want to wish your team ‘good-luck’, and I pray that you have a fun and successful 2005 race from Texas to Calgary !!

I was a member of the U of MN’s 1993 SunRayce Aurora I (electrical and motor team).

I was also the route navigator in the team’s lead-van for the race, so I remember that 1993 solar car race extremely well.

You are carrying-on a great U of MN tradition we started back in 1990-91 (in preparation of the first race in 1993). The 2005 race is bringing back my memories of the 1993 race from Texas to Minneapolis.

Good Luck, Have fun, don't forget where you come from!
I was in Austin talking to Trevre on Saturday morning. He was showing me your car. Looks like a well put together vechicle.
Keep using the 3M tape on it!!
