I regularly watch Jon Stewart on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" because it is invariably entertaining and occasionally outrageously funny. Earlier this week his guest was Charles Lewis from the Center for Public Integrity. Lewis was plugging his new book "The Buying of the President 2004 : Who's Really Bankrolling Bush and His Democratic Challengers--and What They Expect in Return". I'm intrigued, though I have a feeling reading the book would serve only to increase my level of frustration with the plutocracy that masquerades as democracy in the U.S. Lewis claims the book offends both parties equally and I have little doubt it delivers. Let me know what you think if you've read it.
Miata Stuff
Korea 2000
- My family took a two week trip to Korea in June of 2000. We visited several locations around the country including Seoul, the DMZ, Puson, and Kyong-Ju. This is a collection of the best photos from the trip.
