My
bags are not on my flight. We wait until the end and then try to find someone to help. Culture shock starts as I am unable to communicate my situation. Lonely Planet phrase books are inadequate for this occasion. A United rep eventually finds us and asks, "Missing bags?" He looks at my claim tag and walks me over to my duffels that had arrived on an earlier flight. A small disaster is averted, but Evan and I are more focused on the awesome piece of equipment parked between the luggage carousels. We think
it is used for changing light bulbs on the ceiling of the 4 story atrium.
